Marvin Jean is the Sous Chef at Artisan at Hudson, where he brings 14 years of kitchen experience and a lifelong love of learning to every plate. His culinary journey began at a movie theater concession stand buttering popcorn and has since taken him through country clubs, hotels, corporate dining, and assisted living, building skills he can carry anywhere.

What drew him to Solera was the team’s dedication to making every resident feel right at home, and he values the chance to hear resident feedback and keep growing through each service.

A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, Marvin enjoys basketball, writing, time with friends and family, and relaxing at home with his cat. He also never gets tired of Rush Hour 2 and appreciates a little warm weather when it’s time to reset.
