McKayla Shutt brings a fresh energy, creativity, and genuine care to her role at The Artisan. A Hudson native, McKayla’s passion lies not behind a desk, but directly alongside residents, helping create meaningful moments, joyful experiences, and a true sense of community.

With a heart for connection, McKayla is deeply committed to improving the quality of life for every resident. Whether it is organizing a fun activity, sharing a laugh, or simply listening, McKayla believes each day should reflect the unique interests and choices of our residents. “This is their life,” she says, “and it should be spent doing what makes them happy.”

McKayla comes from a close-knit family with two siblings and a beloved dog named Maggie. Outside of work, she enjoys fishing, shopping, and embracing the little joys in life. Her compassionate spirit, dedication to person-centered engagement, and uplifting presence make McKayla a valued and inspiring member of The Artisan team.
